HISTORY

The Seahorse Club

The Club was founded in 1964 with the main aim of promoting sea travel for staff PRs and Publicity Officers. It then broadened its scope to embrace all other forms of the shipping industry including containers, bulk cargoes, shipbuilding, insurance, financing and many ancillary services and products.

The membership expanded to include not only staff PRs and Publicity Officers to those also involved in the wider sphere of marketing and eventually to anyone in or with shipping clients that were non-journalists or members of the media.

In our 55th year, The Seahorse Club continues to thrive.
